From August 22 to 26, the international process industry will meet at ACHEMA in Frankfurt/Main. In chemical and pharmaceutical process engineering, vacuum plays an important role and helps to speed up reactions, protect materials, separate individual substances from each other, or make reactions possible in the first place. Busch Vacuum Solutions will be showcasing its innovative vacuum solutions for the process industry.

A wide range of processes in chemical and pharmaceutical process engineering require tailor-made and reliable vacuum technology. With its broad product portfolio, Busch offers the right technologies for every process in process engineering. The proven screw vacuum pump COBRA NC 0300 B is a flexible solution for handling sensitive and explosive gases or vapors at ultimate pressures of 0.01 hPa (mbar) without the risk of contamination with operating fluids. All COBRA screw vacuum pumps can be individually configured and optimally adapted to the respective processes.

At ACHEMA, Busch will be exhibiting the COBRA NC 0300 B together with its latest generation of DOLPHIN liquid ring vacuum pumps. The DOLPHIN LT series is the result of decades of experience in the use and further development of liquid ring technology. Even demanding applications, such as evacuating saturated gases and vapors are possible without problems. The operating fluid is usually water, but other liquids may be used if required by the process conditions. Thanks to their new sealing concept with optimized Viton or FFKM seals, they are ideally suited for applications in chemical and pharmaceutical process engineering.

Screw and liquid ring technology are also used in vacuum systems for chemical and pharmaceutical process engineering. Busch has many years of experience in this field, both with ready-to-use standard vacuum systems such as the mobile ATEX vacuum system SIMPLEX and with tailor-made individual system solutions. All vacuum pumps and systems for process engineering are of course also available in explosion-proof versions in accordance with the ATEX directive.

Busch’s extensive service network guarantees smooth processes and efficient operation in the process industry. Supported by intelligent IoT solutions, production downtime can be further minimized. For high operational safety in explosion-hazard areas, Busch offers the ATEX check. Specially qualified and certified Busch service technicians thoroughly examine and document all ATEX-relevant components of the vacuum pump, blower or compressor.

Meet the Busch vacuum experts for a personal exchange at ACHEMA 2022 in hall 8, booth H38.
